Our Bed and Breakfast
You will be warmly welcomed to our traditional home, furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary pieces, accented with the work of Canadian artists and artisans. Shirley Samantha's is a perfect base for taking in the sights of the National Capital and the sounds of Ottawa's summer festivals. We are located on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown, close to public transportation, and half a block from the Rideau River Walking/Cycling Path. Your knowledgeable hosts will be delighted to answer your questions about what to see and do. For business travellers, we offer a quiet, book-filled Study with desk and phone. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the house. Our two comfortable bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and choice of down or synthetic pillows. Fluffy terrycloth robes are provided. Bathrooms are furnished with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hair dryers. |

Full gourmet breakfasts featuring Ottawa Valley produce and home baking are served in the formal dining room, or on the deck in the shade of the maple tree. With advance notice, we will gladly accommodate special diets and preferences. Complimentary refreshments are always available in the second floor Study.
